Fun Events in December
Our Preschool and Kindergarten teachers want to share a list of fun events in and around town, going on in December. If you hear of any other local events in the Markham, Stouffville and Uxbridge areas, be sure to let us know and we’ll add them here!
elves in the workshop

Saturday, December 5th, 10-11:30am
Bring your little elf to our seasonal hands-on workshop where they will decorate freshly baked seasonal treats. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies before heading out on a holiday traditions tour or our heritage buidlings. Recommended ages 3 to 10. Pre-registration is required.

candlelight christmas

Saturday, December 12th, 6:30-9pm
Decorated for the season, the Museum’s historic buildings come to life with the traditions of Christmas past. Enjoy a visit with Father Christmas and go on a horse drawn wagon ride. Taste traditional cider and baking and enjoy performances by “EmBellished” and a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’.

stouffville kinsmen santa claus parade

Saturday, December 07th, 2-9pm
The parade starts at 2:00pm from 10th Line and Aintree Drive, travels along Main Street and ends at Stouffville High School located at Weldon Road and Hoover Park Drive. Please come out to this community event put on by local businesses and organizations.
