  • Before & After School Program Overview

    The Share & Care Child Care Before & After School program offers children a safe and caring environment where they can relax and gather with friends at the beginning and end of their school day. Children are given the opportunity to investigate the arts, participate in hands on science, to keep physically fit and to learn new skills that complement the school day.

  • Before School Program

    The Share & Care Before School Program operates from 6:45AM and continues until the school bus arrives. Children participate in social activities. Share & Care Child Care staff ensure that your child arrives at school safely. The children are escorted to the school bus.

  • After School Program

    The Share & Care After School Program begins at school dismissal and continues until 6:00p.m. Children are met at the school bus and greeted by the same staff each day, which allows a sense of stability and familiarity to develop. Share & Care Child Care staff have prepared, in advance, fun and stimulating activities for the children to enjoy. In addition to active play, children have the opportunity to socialize with their friends. Special events are planned on a regular basis, including enrichment opportunities. A healthy snack is served every day prior to 4:00PM. A typical snack includes english muffins, cream cheese, apple slices and milk or juice.

  • Share & Care Child Care Centre is staffed with Registered Early Childhood Educators that specialize in incorporating play-based learning to further develop fundamental skills that your child learns within their full-day kindergarten. Our before and after school care programs are fun and interactive to suit all of the children’s needs.

    • Indoor and outdoor group games
    • Arts and crafts
    • Science and Sensory activities
    • Board games and table toys

Reminders & Resources

  • Familiarize yourself with the immunization requirements. All children will need proof of immunization for whooping cough, chickenpox and meningococcal disease. Read more
